Your account information and chat history are stored in our PostgreSQL database so they are available across your sessions and devices. Your browser may also cache preferences (such as theme) locally using localStorage for a smoother experience.

All communications are encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS. API keys are stored as encrypted secrets on the server and are never exposed to the frontend. Authentication is handled by Clerk, and account data is stored in a PostgreSQL database, both using industry-standard security.

ChatPipe uses no tracking cookies. We only use essential cookies and browser storage required for authentication and app functionality, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences.
ChatPipe is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
